Domain Name and SEO
What is the roll of a domain name in SEO? Many of the SEO firms provide SEO services miss the importance of the Domain name related to SEO.
All genetic domain names come with a punch of advantages. The main advantage is the traffic they have with them.
Let me explain this with a simple example. If I want to find out programming job openings in London, how would I do that? Open my favorite browser and type in “London Programmers” in to search engine. They will return the top results and again Google is the best bet to find the most relevant result.
Bet me, you will be following one of the first three (3) links . . .
Now the question is who is going to rank within first three (3) for the keyword “London Programmers”. Is it monster, yahoo jobs or LondonProgrammers.com?
The best bet is the LondonProgrammers.com. Since it is the keyword you are searching for and Google will index it to that. (With the right SEO techniques)
Now how many browsers search for “London Programmers”? It is some where 12’000 per month. By ranking one you are poised to receive the bulk of that traffic to your site.
With out that domain name it would take you much time and money to receive that traffic.
So, now I hope you understand the importance of a right domain name for your online business. It is very hard to find genetic domain names in the primary market. But they are available in the after market place such as http://DomainStreet.Org
You may have to dish out couple of grants to get the right domain name for your online presence, but it is worth in long term.

Well said. It is much much easier to archive the goal with the right domain name. I presently paid 4k for a domain name and you forgot to mention the new .tel domains. They are here to play a major roll as well.
