How to find the value of your Domain name? Part 2 of 4

What is Search Parses?

How would you search for a product or service using popular search engines?

For example, let say you want to get a puppy for you.
I assume you would open the FireFox browser (I am not a fan of IE.) and type “puppies” to find the puppy for sale sites. Alternatively you could try “puppy” as well.

Now what’s difference between “puppies” and “puppy”? There are fewer people search for “puppy” than “puppies”. That is one reason why “puppies.com” will have a higher value than “puppy.com”

I’ll give you the numbers for “puppies” and “puppy”

The search Volume for February just within Google for “puppies” is 823,000 and for “puppy” 301,000 searches.

This should give you an idea of the Domains Values.

Now the obvious question is how to find out the search volume for each Domain name?

There is a tool provided by our big brother Google. You can find it here. https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Next let’s look at Keyword Popularity >>
